The company has revealed on its official Weibo page that the Xiaomi 13 series will be launched on December 1 as a sequel to the Xiaomi 12. Tech experts predict that Xiaomi’s latest series will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with Leica-tuned cameras.
The official poster has revealed that a premium smartphone named Xiaomi 13 Pro will be coming in this series. It is said that Xiaomi 13 Pro will have a curved display while the regular model will have a flat display. The launch event will be on December 1 at 7 pm, the company said. Xiaomi’s latest phone runs Android 13-based MIUI 14 out-of-the-box OS.
Xiaomi 12 Pro was launched in April this year at a price of $770, while the price of Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to be slightly higher. Coming to the features of the Xiaomi 13 series, according to the leaks, the latest Xiaomi series will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC chipset, and the Pro model will come with a 6.65-inch 2K resolution curved AMOLED display.
