Actor Tom Hiddleston once asked his on-screen brother Chris Hemsworth to hit him in the face. It just didn’t end well for him.
Hiddleston has a great deal of experience in Shakespeare’s plays, besides being part of Marvel’s film. But she’s not so good out of her face. “I mean you’re fighting Chris Hemsworth, you’re going to lose,” Hiddleston joked during a TV show.
“On film, everything is a corner when you fight,” he continued. “So you try to get the corners of different parts of choreography to tell the story.”
While working on “The Avengers” in 2012, he couldn’t hurt those steps.
“Thor had to hit Loki’s face, and I was wearing horns weighing about 30 pounds,” said the 38-year-old.
“I really couldn’t sell the hit and the smell. So I just told Chris.
“I went down like a stone,” he recalled. “And I used to think that when you fight on stage, you have to do it every night with 100 weird performances. I think if I was hitting Chris Hemsworth day by day, I don’t know if I could manage it. It wouldn’t be sustainable. “
