The stock market’s timing Hello everyone, before investing in the stock market, every investor and trader should be familiar with the trading hours in India’s stock exchanges, since there are only two main stock exchanges in the country. Time and stock prices are same on the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange, which are both open at the same time.
Every day, the Indian stock exchanges open at 9:15 a.m. and close at 3:00 p.m., which is a standard trading period for placing buy and sell orders; however, the stock market is closed on major holidays and only works five days a week (Monday through Friday).
same as mcx and ncdex, the order exchanges have distinct sessions As of now, mcx is open from 10:00 to 11:30, whereas Ncdex works from 11:00 to 5:00.
And when it comes to stock market bse and nse sessions, we should be aware that the genuine timed session is from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

between 9:15 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. is the usual timed period, which is when most traders and investors do their business.
Prior to the start of the event
There is an entrance session from 9:00 to 9:08, during which you may place an order for either a buy or a sell. You can also alter or cancel your order during this period.
You may place an order and alter or cancel it during the period 9:12 to 9:15 in this session, which is used to match orders based on last night’s closing price as well as today’s order price. The session will be from 3:40 to 4:00 p.m. On this session, you may buy and sell shares of any firm that is available in the market, and the stock exchanges compute and set the closing price of the day for the stock.
