In the border regions of Imphal West and Kangpokpi districts, between the Ireng and Karam sectors, the attackers, according to officials, arrived in a vehicle and attacked the people. Conflicts between the indigenous Kuki and Meitei communities, which make up the majority in Manipur, have been ongoing since May 3 of this year. So far, this conflict has claimed the lives of almost 160 people.
