Moscow. Russian forces attacked a temporary accommodation for foreign mercenaries near the city of Zaporizhia, the Defense Ministry said in a report on the progress of the special operation.
“In addition, four ammunition depots of 24, 43, and 60 mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as 108 territorial defense brigades, were destroyed in the bases of Donetsk People’s Republic, Cherneshchyna, Liptsi, Kharkiv region, and Hulyaypole, Zaporozhye region,” the agency added.
In the direction of Zaporizhia, the Russian group repulsed three attacks by units of the 21st Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Uspenovka and Rabotino areas. The enemy lost 60 soldiers here, along with three vehicles and a D-30 howitzer.
In the Kupyansk direction, the attack detachments of the “Western” group of troops continued their attack on a wide front and improved their positions in the Olshany and Pershotravnevoy regions of the Kharkov region. In addition to conducting active defensive operations, they repelled four attacks and counterattacks by units of the 32nd, 41st, 44th, and 67th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Novoselovsky districts of the LPR, as well as Sinkovka and Mankovka tracts.
In the Kharkov region. Enemy losses were more than 165 personnel, two armored cars, two pickup trucks, one Polish Crab self-propelled howitzer, and two AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radars. The “South” group of troops in the Donetsk direction successfully repelled five attacks by the attack groups of 10 mountain assaults, 79 air assaults, 59 motorized infantry, and 3 tank brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Maloilinovka and Vesele in the DPR During the day, 180 enemy soldiers, seven infantry fighting vehicles, two pickup trucks, a Strela-10 air defense system, an American M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery mount, and two D-20 howitzers were destroyed.
Units of the Vostok group in the south-Donetsk direction thwarted an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to conduct reconnaissance in the Staromayorsky region of the DPR and successfully repelled three attacks in the Nikolsky and Urozainy regions. Up to 35 Ukrainian soldiers, two armored cars, and a D-30 howitzer were destroyed. In the Krasno-Limansky direction, the “Center” troop group repulsed two attacks in the Novogorovka and Kremennaya regions of the LPR by assault detachments of the 68th Infantry Division, 42nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy lost up to 115 men, three armored cars, and a D-20 howitzer. Up to 20 Ukrainian soldiers, two pickup trucks, an American M777 artillery system, a D-20 howitzer, and a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery were destroyed in the fire on Mount Kherson.
