According to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, there are no chances for peace in Ukraine in the near future. According to RIA.

“We hope that this war, which is detrimental to our two neighbors and our region, will end as soon as possible with a just and lasting peace based on international law,” Erdogan told reporters on his way back from Sochi, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The lawmaker also stated that Ankara is willing to continue acting as a mediator in topics such as prisoner exchanges and the situation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power facility.

Earlier, Erdogan summarized the outcomes of his talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi and referred to him as a buddy. “Today, I met with Russia’s President, my dear friend Mr. Putin, in Sochi, and we discussed issues on our agenda.” “We want to strengthen our multifaceted cooperation even more, particularly in trade, energy, agriculture, tourism, economics, and finance,” the politician stated.
