Things that might irritate your man

Things that, shockingly, might turn guys off

Putting your opinions and intuition into question

Some women struggle to communicate their feelings and thoughts. They expect males to be able to read their minds and infer what they are thinking, but this is not always achievable. And because they didn’t play the guessing game correctly, they get the chilly shoulder when they fail. Nothing irritates men more than a woman who won’t express her needs outright and expects you to figure it out from the’signs’. Some women’s presumption that men already know what they want them to do really pisses off males. Men become even more perplexed when women say one thing while doing completely opposite. Play it straight and just speak up, as this eliminates any possibility of misunderstanding or miscommunication.

Playing the “I’m better than you” card

Everyone makes errors, so there is no need to constantly point them out. However, some women assume that men are stupid. You become a nag and can be infuriating as a result.

Excessively smothering you with love

Always keep in mind that your guy has a mother, so you don’t need to assume that role. While offering comfort and support is OK, avoid treating him like a child and smothering him to the point that it begins to bother him.

Too much information is shared

Unlike some women who would go crazy disclosing every minute detail with everyone in sight, guys are not always at ease talking about their concerns. Don’t overshare and learn to be cautious. Recognize when to keep things to yourself, especially when they were shared with you in confidence. It will increase trust and motivate the guy to be more forthcoming. Additionally, there is no need to tell him every tiny detail if you have only recently gotten to know him. Recognize when to keep things to oneself and when to share them.

Making very detailed plans for the future

Live in the now; planning your birthday is OK, but planning your 50th wedding anniversary while you are still dating will only make the guy uncomfortable. Instead of fast-forwarding with an overactive mind and leaving your partner perplexed and scared, learn to take small steps and enjoy the moment.
