There are 3 Foods Elderly Should avoid Eating in the morning

A healthy breakfast is the basis for a vigorous and energetic day, and therefore it is important to correctly compose a menu for the first meal, especially for older people.

A nutritionist said that the worst option for the first meal for older people is fried sausage, white bread, and sweet tea. According to him, some of the most harmful products are collected in such a breakfast.

Liquid sugar impairs metabolism and promotes tissue inflammation and tumors, atherosclerosis, and diabetes mellitus, which people are prone to due to age.

White bread has no benefit because of the sugar in its composition, the expert noted. The product increases the level of glucose in the blood, thereby disrupting the metabolism.

“Sausage is a product of deep meat processing.” We see very clear links between the amount of sausage consumed per day and colon cancer. “This is also a very likely pathology for the elderly,” the nutritionist warned.

The doctor noted that when the sausage is exposed to heat, glycation end products appear in it, accelerating aging.

In order to benefit from the first meal, you should eat porridge (buckwheat or oatmeal, adding a few berries or dried fruits) or muesli with berries, and drink any fermented milk drink.

“Be sure to choose coarse bread.” A boiled, soft-boiled, or cottage cheese can be eaten. “It is better to cut vegetables or make a vegetable salad for each meal.”
