The Secrets of Coral Castle, Mystery Explained

Did a Latvian immigrant unearth the secrets of the pyramids’ construction? the power of levitation! in terms of antigravity? His incredible “castle” may contain hints to long-lost powers.

Coral Castle in Homestead, Florida, is one of the most incredible constructions ever constructed. It has been compared to Stonehenge, ancient Greek temples, and even Egypt’s enormous pyramids in terms of accomplishment. It is incredible, even miraculous, because it was mined, fashioned, transported, and built by one man: Edward Leedskalnin, a 5-foot-tall, 100-pound Latvian immigrant.

Many men have built their own homes on their own, but Leedskalnin’s choice of building materials is what makes his feat so remarkable. He used massive blocks of coral rock, some weighing up to 30 tons, and managed to move and arrange them in position without the use of modern gear.

And That is where the enigma resides. How did he manage it?

It is estimated that 1,000 tons of coral rock were utilized in the walls and towers, with an additional 100 tons carved into furniture and art objects.

  1. He raised a 28-ton obelisk.
  2. The wall that surrounds Coral Castle is 8 feet tall and made up of massive blocks that weigh several tons each.
  3. Large stone crescents sit atop 20-foot-high walls.
  4. The eastern wall is guarded by a 9-ton swinging gate that moves at the touch of a finger.
  5. The largest boulder on the property is reported to weigh 35 tons.
  6. Some stones weigh twice as much as the largest blocks in Giza’s Great Pyramid.

Leedskalnin worked alone for 20 years, from 1920 to 1940, to build the residence he originally called “Rock Gate Park” in Florida City. According to legend, he erected it after being dumped by his fiancée, who decided against marrying him because he was too elderly and too impoverished.

Leedskalnin settled in Florida City for health concerns after wandering about the United States and Canada for some years; he had been diagnosed with tuberculosis. In 1920, he began construction on his coral mansion. When a planned new subdivision of homes threatened his seclusion in 1936, Leedskalnin relocated his entire mansion 10 miles to Homestead, where he finished it, and it now serves as a tourist attraction.

Leedskalnin’s feat of engineering has remained a mystery for all these years since no one witnessed it.

Leedskalnin, a reclusive man, often worked at night by lantern light. As a result, there are no reliable witnesses to how the small, feeble man moved the massive pieces of rock. Neighbors saw the coral blocks being transported on a borrowed truck even when he relocated the entire structure to Homestead, but no one seems to know how Leedskalnin got them on and off the vehicle.

Many strange stories and explanations have been suggested to explain Coral Castle. And because no witness can refute any of them, they are all worth considering.

The Hypotheses

According to one tale, some nosy neighbors witnessed Leedskalnin moving the stones. They claim he put his hands on the stone to lift it and then sang. This somehow lifted the massive rocks.

According to a Fate magazine story, “some teenagers spying on him one evening claimed they saw him’float coral blocks through the air like hydrogen balloons,’ but no one took them seriously.”

“Alternative science investigators suggest that Leedskalnin somehow learned the secret of the ‘world grid,’ an invisible pattern of energy lines surrounding the Earth that concentrates points of telluric power where they intersect,” Frank Joseph writes in the Fate magazine piece. He was allegedly able to move his gigantic stone slabs using the hidden strength of our planet at one of these crossings of Earth’s energies. This, however, does not explain why Leedskalnin had access to this power when others did not.

“Measurements from the Coral Castle position to the zero-degree and 90-degree longitude lines, when they passed through the equator, also yielded harmonics related to light and gravity,” says J. Cathie, a captain flying with National Airways Corp. of New Zealand. The final measurement of the distance between Coral Castle and grid pole A in the north removed any doubt regarding the site’s suitability for allowing Leedskalnin to install the massive slabs of coral with relative ease. Measurements from all major sites provided the geometric harmonics required for antigravity manipulation. Cathie also claims that this electricity grid is to blame for numerous UFO sightings. “What if there is no such thing as gravity?” author Christopher Dunn asks in his article

The Coral Castle Mystery” in Atlantis Rising. And are the fundamental forces we presently understand adequate to explain the observed phenomenon known as gravity? Perhaps Leedskalnin’s method of dealing with the Earth’s gravitational pull was as simple as adjusting the alignment of magnetic elements within his coral blocks to face the streams of individual magnets he claims are emitting from the Earth with a “like repelling pole.

“When asked how he accomplished the feat, Leedskalnin just stated that he understood the laws of weight and leverage. “I have discovered the secrets of the pyramids,” he is quoted as stating. “I discovered how the Egyptians and ancient builders in Peru, Yucatan, and Asia raised and set in place blocks of stone weighing many tons using only primitive tools.”

According to The Enigma of Coral Castle, “Ed flatly disagreed with modern science, claiming that the scientists were wrong and ‘that nature is simple.'” He believed that all matter was made up of individual magnets whose movement within materials and through space created quantifiable phenomena such as magnetism and electricity. These ideas ‘included the link of the Earth to heavenly alignments.’

He claimed to see light beads, which he said were the physical presence of nature’s magnetism and life force, or what we now call “chi.”Was Leedskalnin being disingenuous when he mentioned magnetism and electricity, attempting to make his achievement appear more magical and enigmatic than it was?

Had he simply discovered a smart way to manage the enormous stones using levers and pulleys? We might never find out. Leedskalnin went to his grave with his secrets—secrets that have yet to be discovered.
