The New Xperia XZ Premium From Sony

Sony’s new smartphone comes with a 4K HDR display and great stereo speakers with enough power to keep up with all high-end apps and games.

Customers will definitely be thrilled about the new Sony Xperia XZ Premium. This new device is available at the price of 799 US dollars. We must mention that this is the first device that comes with a 4K HDR display. This means that it has an incredible number of pixels stuffed inside a 5.5-inch screen.

Another great thing about the new Sony Xperia XZ Premium is that it is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, which will ensure the smooth multitasking experience. The company also claims that its new device comes packed with high-resolution audio and waterproof build. So, this means that the new Sony Xperia XZ Premium is a great smartphone that needs to be checked out.

Moving forward, we must say that the new Sony Xperia XZ Premium also comes with a great design language. Unfortunately, it seems that the fingerprint sensor is disabled for US customers. However, the biggest attraction of this phone is the display. Its design is very similar with the original Xperia XZ.

This means that it comes with the same rectangular shape and a large bezel. We must say that this bezel is very unfashionably, making the phone look much smaller. We thought that with this new upgrade, Sony will ditch the bezel. On a market where many manufacturers are releasing edge-to-edge displays, it seems that Sony is still insisting on phones with large bezels.

However, the display is very attractive, featuring a high-quality look. Moreover, this screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, which is placed on the front and on the back. This means that the back of the phone has a more polished finish. The phone measures 6.1 x 3.0 x 0.3 inches and weighs approximately 6.8 ounces. This means that customers will be able to use this phone with one hand with ease.

Moreover, the new Sony Xperia XZ Premium comes with rounded sides, which means that it is very travel-friendly. Customers will have access to the SIM and microSD card slots through a flap situated on the left side. To be added that there is also a USB-C charging port that can also be used with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

The fingerprint sensor is integrated with the power button and it is situated on the right side of the phone. We don’t know for sure why Sony decided to not activate the fingerprint sensor for US customers. It seems that the company calls this move a “business decision.”

The new Sony Xperia XZ Premium is also IP65/68 waterproof, which means that it can stay five feet underwater for approximately 30 minutes. As for the battery, we must say that this new device comes with a 3.230mAh battery, which is a decent thing. In the end, we must say that this device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor, accompanied by 4GB of RAM.
