What happens when you have a journalist and a doctor crash land in the vast wilderness of a mountain range? Well 20th Century Fox has your answer as they are going to be releasing a film revolving around such an idea with their upcoming The Mountain Between Us, which stars Idris Elba and Kate Winslet.

Stranded after a tragic plane crash, two strangers must forge a connection to survive the extreme elements of a remote snow covered mountain. When they realize help is not coming, they embark on a perilous journey across hundreds of miles of wilderness, pushing one another to endure and discovering strength they never knew possible.
Directed by Hany Abu-Assad from a screenplay by Chris Weitz and J. Mills Goodloe, The Mountain Between Us stars Kate Winslet, Idris Elba, Beau Bridges, Dermot Mulroney. It is based up the novel by Charles Martin.
The Mountain Between Us is released October 20, 2017.
