NASA scientists sifting through the data collected from the LADEE spacecraft have discovered that there is neon in the moon’s thin atmosphere. Don’t expect it to be lit up anytime soon though. The amount of neon surrounding it is very low. Makes for neat billboard ideas though. For more info on this story check out iflscience.com
