Danny and Maggie (Sarah Holcomb) serve as waiters at Bushwood’s Fourth of July luncheon.
It seems that Czervik is still irritating Smails and the other elderly members of the club, while entertaining and winning their trust with the younger members and also with the staff, whom he often gives substantial tips to.
Lacey Underall (Cindy Morgan), the promiscuous niece of Smails, arrives in town for the summer and frequents the club.
Danny feels drawn to her.

Czervik, on the other hand, declares that he has no intention of joining the country club, calling it a “scumbag establishment” and saying he is just there to study the possibility of purchasing the property and turning it into condos.
To ease the tension, Webb proposes they meet for drinks to discuss the problem.
A golf match between Czervik and Webb versus Smails and Dr. Beeper (Dan Resin) is proposed when the former demands satisfaction from the latter.
A $20,000 bet on the match, which swiftly doubles to $40,000, is made against club regulations.
Webb is practising for the game against Smails that night, and his inaccurate shot takes him to Carl; the two drink wine and use marijuana.
The match is scheduled for the next day.
Members and workers of the club are drawn to the event by the high stakes.
Smails and Beeper seize control of the game while Czervik, much to his dismay, is “playing the worst game of his life.”
At the same time, Webb progressively cracks over his own terrible game.
In a furious response to Smails’ quips, Czervik doubles the stakes to $80,000 per team.
Czervik fakes an injury after his own ricocheting ball hits his arm in an attempt to have the match called a draw.
As an umpire, Lou (Brian Doyle-Murray) warns Czervik that his team will forfeit until they locate a replacement.
However, after Czervik picks Danny as the winner, Webb convinces Danny that winning would make it “worth his time,” even if Smails has threatened to take away his scholarship.
Danny has made the decision to participate in the game.
With just one hole remaining, both teams are level on the board.
A birdie for Judge Smails.
To win, Danny must make a tough putt.
Czervik doubles the bet if Danny makes the putt, as he did in the first wager.
After Danny’s putt, the ball is dangling over the edge of the hole.
That’s when Carl’s newest gopher-killing scheme goes awry, and he sets off a series of homemade plastic bombs throughout the golf course.
There are many blasts that shake the earth, allowing Danny, Webb, and Czervik to win their wager.
Two scary guys, Moose and Roco (who had a crush on Czervik during his time at the club), are summoned by Czervik to assist him locate Smails’s chequebook.
