Sushant Singh Rajput US-bound for another debut

Avinash Lohana (MUMBAI MIRROR; October 9, 2019)
Sushant Singh Rajput’s love for science is well known. In a recently-released list of 50 dreams that he wishes to realise, the actor had mentioned that he wants to send kids for workshops at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and would like to attend one himself at the latter. Also featuring in the list was reading a Halliday & Resnick physics book and understand Polynesian astronomy. Now, Mirror has learnt that Sushant is taking his love for science forward by venturing into another territory.
According to a source close to the development, the actor is going to the United States for a month to begin work on a startup, which will focus on exponential technology and sustainable energy. “He had wanted to do this for a while now and is finally working on it. At this stage, it would be difficult to say if operations will be based in the US or in India. Other formalities, including travel dates, are being worked out,” the source informed.
In an earlier interview to Mirror (December 1), the actor who is presently basking in the success of his last release, the Nitesh Tiwari-directed Chhichhore, in which he played an engineering student, had said that his interests lie in astronomy, artificial intelligence, exponential technologies and sustainable energy. “I am closely working with someone to create a knowledge structure for students and bring back the Vedic technologies. Sixty-five per cent of the kids entering kindergarten this year, if they work 20 years later, they will be dealing with technologies that have yet to be invented. So, we plan to enable them in things that will equip them for such challenges in the future,” Sushant had said.
Meanwhile, out of his 50 dreams, the actor has already fulfilled a few, like spending a day at his alma mater, Delhi Technological University, where the actor pursued a degree in Engineering for three years, helping women train in selfdefence and taking flying lessons.
