According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool could finally end Philippe Coutinho’s misery at Barcelona by resigning him.
Coutinho is currently deemed surplus to requirement at Camp and could be used by Barca to lure Neymar back to the club.
The Bluagrana giants will offer Coutinho plus €35m to resign Neymar who has refused to return for preseason training. But Coutinho has no interest in moving to Paris Saint- German, he prefers to return to the Premier League over a move to France.
Chelsea would’ve been the ideal club for him but the club is currently suffering a two window transfer ban.
Manchester United meanwhile is ruled out due to their rivalry with Liverpool while Tottneham Hotspur are not interested.
Leaving the Brazilian with Liverpool are the only realistic destination.
