nYounprobably know that koalas are native to Australia, and that they arenmarsupials, which means that their babies are born while stillnembryos and finish developing in their moms’ pouches.

nAccordingnto the Australian Koala Foundation,nSeptember is Save the Koala Month, and today is the one-day versionnof the effort to raise awareness of and concern for these unusual andnadorable animals!
