Samsung’s new Smart TV remote controls all your devices

Now that the year started, probably the best attraction in the electronic world is Samsung’s new smart TV remote. Yes, the South Korea-based electronics giant has developed a new remote controller that will definitely be a huge attraction on the market.

These days, people are probably tired of using three or four remotes to control all their electronics around the house.

So, Samsung has come with a solution.
How would it be to use one remote instead of four or five to control the entire home TV system or other devices?
Well, Samsung has done it and now it will share it with the entire world.

Samsung has announced on Monday their new “smart control remote,” designed to control all user’s TV-connected devices. Even if it comes with a Samsung Smart TV, this new remote will support more than just the TV itself.

This new remote will control set-top boxes, Blu-ray players, streaming media players and even gaming consoles connected to the user’s home entertainment system.

This kind of clicker will definitely make people’s life easier, because they will not be forced to use three or four remotes at the same time.

In 2016, Samsung’s Smart Hub and Smart Control remote are providing the most streamlined, convenient, and intuitive TV user experience,” has declared Won Jin Lee, executive vice president of Samsung’s Visual Display Business.

Moreover, this release will probably be a huge step forward for smart TVs, which also offers access to games, apps, streaming services such as Hulu and Netflix and online programs.

This large variety could probably be confusing to use, but Samsung has also updated their interface. This means that they will offer a simpler way to control and tap into the features of its TV.

With these new updates, Samsung is ready to compete with its huge rival, LG, which also released a new lineup of Smart TVs at the Consumer Electronics Show, held in Las Vegas. LG comes with a new lineup, which includes an updated version of its WebOS software, promising to ease the process of jumping between online programs and broadcast TV channels.

The Samsung Smart Control remote serves as a single control unit for nearly all devices connected to a Samsung Smart TV, eliminating the need for multiple remote controls,” has declared Samsung in a statement.

For a TV with more than three external devices connected, on average, the Smart Control remote will consolidate multiple remote controls into one, seamless device.”

To be added that Samsung’s new 2016 Smart TV lineup and new remote are built on its Tizen software.

This software can be compared with LG’s WebOS, because it also tries to provide an easier and simple interface for users. However, Samsung is also using Tizen to power smartwatches and other low-cost smartphones. As for the remote, Samsung has declared that it can automatically recognize each connect device.

We wanted to offer consumers a new type of experience, integrating live TV with streaming services and other content sources”, has declared Chris Turkstra, vice president of Samsung’s customer experience lab.

“No longer will you need to keep track of several remotes to control individual devices. All you need is one Samsung Smart TV,” he finished.
