Samsung HW-MS650-ZA Sound+ comes with a simple design

The new HW-MS650-ZA is Samsung’s best sounding bar. The most interesting thing about this speaker is that it is very simple.

As we know, Samsung created an in-house audio lab in southern California. This place was built with one purpose: to create incredible audio speakers and put the company on the audio map.

This lab is filled with sound designers who are working every day to find and create the perfect Samsung speakers.

As we know, this lab managed to create the first speaker all ready. We are talking about the HW-K950, which is Samsung’s flagship Dolby Atmos soundbar.

This speaker comes with a powerful wireless subwoofer, four up-firing drivers, and wireless satellite speakers. The model had a huge success on the market and managed to beat all its competitors.

Now, Samsung comes with the second soundbar, called the Samsung HW-MS650-ZA Sound+. This new speaker is entirely different compared with the HW-K950.

The first huge difference is the size. The new Samsung Sound+ comes with a minimal and simple design.

But, the real attraction here is that even if it has a smaller design compared with the HW-K950 flagship device, the new Samsung Sound+ comes with a great punchy power sound. So, we must say that this new speaker is a very ambitious model.

Isn’t that what soundbars are all about?

We think that everyone wants a decent and small sized soundbar that could fit under the TV and produce a great sound experience.

We must say that the Samsung Sound+ managed to find the perfect balance. The box that people will receive is very simple and it is big enough only for the bar to fit inside. This means that customers won’t receive any satellite speakers or a wireless subwoofer.

Moreover, customers should know that the new Samsung Sound+ doesn’t come with down-firing drivers or passive radiators onboard. The new Samsung Sound+ comes with a great array of drivers, like a dedicated tweeter for each of the speaker’s three channels, and dual oblong woofers.

Another great thing to know is that Samsung’s new soundbar offers the possibility to be connected with the company’s SWA-9000S/ZA speakers or with a Samsung subwoofer via a wireless dongle.

This is a very great feature, because this way customers will have the possibility to extend their system. Moreover, inside the box, users will receive the company’s intuitive wand remote.

This clicker looks very similar with the newer TV remotes that Samsung has released. To be added that inside the box, customers will also find a digital Optical cable, a basic mounting kit and feet, and a setup manual.

Unfortunately, there is no HDMI cable inside the box, which means that customers will have to purchase it separately.

The setup is very simple, users will just have to connect the HDMI cable in both of the device’s ARC ports, and set up the TV sound to output to external speakers. The new Samsung Sound+ offers wireless connection via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
