Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+: A great Upgrade for S7 Users

Well, they are finally here. Samsung has finally unveiled its flagship devices. We are talking about the new Galaxy S8 and S8+.

We must say that the new Samsung Galaxy S8 is simply amazing. With this new model we see that the previous model’s flat screen is gone, and in its place is a tall and beautiful screen with two curved sides.

This new phone feels amazing in hands, it has a nice grip and people can use it easily while browsing the Internet, sending emails or texting messages.

The new Samsung Galaxy S8 is better than the LG G6, which comes with similar proportions, but no curved screen.

Another interesting thing is that this new model is sleeker compared with the iPhone 7 Plus, which has a small screen and wider body.

However, customers should know that pretty much everything that they have read on the Internet about the new Samsung Galaxy S8 is true.

Of course, this is a good thing, because this new phone is amazing. But, we should also mention that Samsung managed to do a great job keeping its new flagship under the curtains, until it has decided to unveil the new phones.

So, the two models, the S8 and S8+, come with edge-to-edge displays and they have ditched the physical home buttons. Of course, these rumors have been wandering around the Internet for weeks.

Another important thing is that leakers have also managed to guess the button on the side devoted to the company’s new proprietary assistant, Bixby.

However, the most attractive thing on this new phone is the display. It seems that the company still wants to push the boundaries of size.

This means that the new Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8-inch screen, while the S8+ model comes with an incredible 6.2-inch screen. Another impressive thing is the resolution that goes up to 2.960 x 1.440.

It seems that the company has followed LG’s example and shifted to a much taller phone, which goes perfectly with the built-in HDR support. This means that users will be able to enjoy videos at a very high quality.

The screen occupies approximately 80 percent of the phone’s front, at least this is what the company claims. This means that users will have a really large-screen phone that doesn’t feel bulky or bit at all.

However, it is impressive to see how Samsung managed to feet such a huge screen into such a small body. But, an important thing to know is that Samsung ditched the signature oval home button on the front of the device, which means that extra room was made for the display.

Customers should know that instead of the physical home button, the company added a virtual touch sensitive button on the bottom.

Moreover, instead of the biometric fingerprint reader, people will be able to unlock the phone with either their retinas or by scanning their whole face.

By adding Bixby, it seems that Samsung is making it clear that it wants to jump into the voice assistant battle. So, we are curious to see if Samsung is a match for other giants, like Amazon or Google.
