Revealed: Sonam Kapoor charted out a special diet for Angad Bedi

With a lifetime of sports behind him, Angad Bedi is one of the fittest actors in B-Town. And yet, while working on The Zoya Factor, he learnt another dimension of fitness from his co-star, Sonam K Ahuja. While a big believer in working out, the Pink actor, a Punjabi like Sonam, loves his desi food. His staple diet often includes dishes that are part of the Indian cuisine like parathas with ghee and natural butter, which he gorges on because he is always able to burn them off with his workout.
However, the Veere Di Wedding star introduced him to a healthy form of eating that he hadn’t tried before. Sonam follows a balanced diet chart that mixes and matches everything she relishes eating by making it in healthier ways. Angad was surprised to know how well-versed she is with nutrition, diet, its different forms and benefits. She even charted out a special diet plan for him by increasing the number of meals, giving him smaller portions and balancing out the nutrients evenly throughout the day keeping in mind his fitness regime.
Angad says, “Sonam gave me in-depth advice on what to eat, how it’s good to take a break and not constantly feed our gut. She knows so much about nutrition and the myths around various diets; she helped me put things into perspective. I had to shoot certain scenes where my fitness was key and it clearly helped onscreen.”
