She has also done M. Tech from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. Atnthat time, she didn’t had any plan to join the Civil Services. Actually, shenwent to Delhi for some official assignment. At that time, she thought aboutndoing PG Diploma from Indian Institute of Human Rights – IIHR.

nAt IIHR, shencame to know about the prevailing conditions of human rights in India.nGradually, she started to think about making direct impact into the lives ofnpeople whom basic human rights are being snatched by various means. Nothingncould be better for her to pursue this dream than going for Civil Services. Shenstarted preparing for UPSC Civil Services and in her third attempt got the IPS,nwhich she always wanted. She belongs to 2009 batch of the IPS.

nRema was adjugednas the best lady IPS officer of the batch in the NPA, Hyderabad. She was withnAndhra Pradesh cadre and go for Telangana when the state was bifurcated. It isnsaid that C Chandrashekhar, the CM of Telangana, had personally requested hernto select Telangana as he was making sure that law and order should be betternin the baby state with a human face. Rema has not disappointed the trust of thenChief Minister. If you take a look at her achievements, you will be surprisednto know that she has achieved a lot in a ver short span of time.
