New York: The candidate of the Democratic Party, Raphael Warnock, has won the Georgia Senate race. With this, the number of Democratic Party seats in the Senate has reached 51. With this victory, the party got the majority in the Senate.
Warnock defeated Republican candidate Herschel Walker by about 40,000 votes. Warnock thanked the supporters who won him.
Georgia’s mid-term election results have been a disappointment for the Republican Party. The Republican Party won the House of Representatives with only a small majority.
