The promos and songs of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’supcoming Ramleela are creating a buzz among movie buffs. Tattad Tattad has been posted full length by Eros on its channel. The dance steps are rustic and would not flatter a professional performer. However, the theme of the choreography is in line with the basic plot of the movie, i.e. Romeo & Juliet set in rural Gujarat. It would be interesting to see whether Ramleela songs are able to mesmerize the audiences as much as its trailer.

Movies of Sanjay Leela Bhansali are known more for their enchanting sets and emotionally intense depictions. However, memorable songs are always been a part of his movies. The color in movies such as Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam would be lifeless if not complemented by the songs they had. However, it would be a bit premature to comment whether the songs of Ramleela can create same magic as Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s earlier works.

Ramleela songs are increasing in popularity mainly because of the visual delight they promise. Indeed, people are so swept away by the magnificent trailer of the movie, that all that accompanies it looks and sounds good, even though you cannot say they are excellent work independently. So, while being excited about the upcoming movie, one has to say that the songs are good only in a secondary role, even though they are essential for the complete movie experience.
So much can be said about the song Tattad Tattad that it does have a genuine rustic flavor. The raw commotion and unsophistication of a village rustic is evident in the dance moves, presenting an engaging contrast to the professionally crafted washboard abs that Ranveer flaunts. Nevertheless, it is still a big thumb up for the songs of the eagerly awaited movie, slated to be released on November 15th. Whether the movie will be next blockbuster of the year or will it go down as just another Friday debutant, we will have to wait and see.
