Sunday is synonymous with sleeping in, going to Church, Sunday dinner and, if you’re a hack with Alt-Right News, catching up on the week’s juicy scandals.
So, you can imagine our delight when front and centre in the Sunday Daily Mail a story leapt out so perfect that we just had to get in there before The Daily Stormer or The Daily Shoah’s Merchant Minute grabbed it for themselves.
What could it be, you ask that tweaked our interest? Just this:
“Shame of Ukip’s ‘rampant rabbi’: Candidate in sex role-play scandal with woman he met on bondage site won’t even shake female rivals’ hands ‘on religious grounds”.
To begin with, the headline is pretty awesome, but the details of what Rabbi Odze has been up to are even better:
“Cassie, who describes herself as ‘submissive’, said Odze drove from his home in Salford to her flat in York for their first encounter.‘He told me in a text to open the communal door and the one to my flat. When he came in, he put my wrists and ankles in plastic handcuffs and blindfolded me,’ she claimed. ‘He also hit me across the buttocks for all the times I’d forgotten to call him Sir.”
This looks like a tragicomic tale of a misunderstood Rabbi, a senior member of the ultra-orthodox Lubavitcher sect, with deep emotional and sado-masochistic sexual needs, who was unable to satisfy them at home. Some of the less forgiving elements of the Alt Right will be saying “you reap what you sow,” But be that as it may, we feel that the Rabbi is a tragic character in what can best be described as a modern day morality tale.
In amongst the many ‘golden’ comedy moments is the rather quaint ruse adopted by the Rabbi to conceal his identity by pretending to be a Roman Catholic priest. This leads to more questions than it answers, and if you’ve seen his picture he’s hardly a dead ringer for Father Ted.
We at Alt-Right News would like to state that while the details present an awesome picture of degeneracy, we would be remiss if we didn’t have some compassion for Rabbi Odze’s wife and of course for the Rabbi himself, a man clearly born out of his time. He would obviously fit in much better in Sodom and Gomorrah, Babylon, or even the German Weimar Republic, although that latter choice could have been slightly problematic.
