                                 Former President Pranab Mukherjee has been honored with Bharat Ratna on Thursday. At the same time, National Volunteer Association thinker Nanaji Deshmukh and singer Bhupen Hazarika also received the honor posthumously. Virendrajit Singh, chairman of the Daily Research Institute, has accepted this honor on behalf of Nanaji Deshmukh. Bhupen Hazarika’s son has accepted the honor on his behalf. Mukherjee is the fifth president to receive the highest civilian honor.This honor was preceded by Dr. S Radhakrishnan, Rajendra Prasad, Zakir Hussain and VV Giri have been found.

Bharat Ratna was given four years later

Pranab has been Finance, Defense and External Affairs Minister

  • Pranab Mukherjee was born on December 11, 1935 in Mirati, West Bengal. In 1969, former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi gave her a Rajya Sabha ticket. He was then appointed Finance Minister in his cabinet in 1982. However, in 1989 the party joined the Congress itself. Nanaji Deshmukh was a thinker of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, a social worker and leader of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. Bhupen Hazarika wrote the first song at the age of 10
