Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi and director Gil Kenan reimagine and contemporize the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is invaded by angry spirits. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and take the youngest daughter, the family must come together to rescue her.
In terms of haunted homes, this was a fantastic film. This film features a lot of nice shocks and a well-developed screenplay with a fantastic horror story line. This recreation, in my opinion, was much superior than the original. Although I have great admiration for Heather O’Rourke and her tragic passing, I believe the remake is superior. Of course, the clown terrified me to no end. I don’t get why people are so against this film since, in my opinion, it’s one of the best horror films I’ve seen in a long time. Any fan of haunted home movies and mystery thriller and psychological thrill should see this film. Be who you are! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO AGREE WITH YOUR FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER IF THEY HATE THIS MOVIE
