One suspect has been arrested in connection with the stabbing to death of popular Kumawood Actor, Abass Blinks Nurudeen.
Police in the region on Wednesday intensified efforts to apprehend the killers of the 35 year old popular Kumawood actor.
A source at the Ashanti Regional Police Command confirming the arrest to Abusua Fm’s Osei Kwadwo said the suspect Sumaila was arrested at his hideout at Atimatim in the Tafo-Pankrono Municipality of the Ashanti region.
The suspect is currently in the grips of the Ashanti Regional Police Command assisting in investigations.
Abass was stabbed to death Wednesday morning at Sawaba Akrem in the Asokore Mampong Municipality in the Ashanti Region.
The Manhyia Divisional Police Commander ACP Kwaku Buah speaking to the media in Kumasi said Abass lost his life after he was stabbed twice by the brothers of his master when he was settling a fight between them and his master’s wife.
