Oba Adesanya Fayeun, better known as Ade Basket, has been enthroned as the traditional ruler of Ifedapo, in Ondo State, and has been approved by the Ondo State Government.
Ade Basket has a history of contentious political actions, including violent ones.
He was regarded as the anchor man during the tenures of previous Governors Olusegun Agagu and, subsequently, Olusegun Mimiko .
He was described as a problematic personality that inspired terror in his subjects.
A traditional ruler in Ondo State who did not want to be identified informed Irohinodua that his name was referenced in multiple violent crimes perpetrated by politicians.
