Manchester City have completed the signing of Derby County’s highly rated striker Liam Delap.
The 16-year-old will join City in a £1.2m deal after impressing the management by winning the golden boot for England’s U16s at the Aegean Tournament in Turkey in January.
Liam is known for his pace, incredible link up and instinct to score goals. He is known to be the son of former Stoke City player and throw in specialist Rory Delap
Delighted with signing for City, Delap wrote on his twitter page: Buzzing to have signed for @ManCity, thanks to everyone for the 10years i spent at @dcfcoffical. Can’t wait for the new season”.
The youngster will go straight into the academy.
