Manchester City defender Tosin Adarabioyo will join Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan move.
The 19-year-old will join the list of City youngsters leaving the club in search of first team football to aid their development.
Tosin, a Nigerian by birth was single handily picked by Tony Mowbray due to his physical attributes and good reading of the game.
With Adarabioyo set to leave on loan, Manchester City are closing in on signing Thiago Almada from Velez Sarsfield.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder is highly rated and has a £16m release clause.
