Have you heard of the Happy Wall?
At the Life Is Beautiful concert in Las Vegas (October 24 through October 26, 2014), yesterday’s featured artist, Thomas Dambo, erected a Happy Wall like the one he’d created in Copenhagen. The Danish Happy Wall was the star of more than 7 thousand photos on Instagram, and creating Happy Walls elsewhere of course just enlarged the count!
Hashtag Happy Wall! I just checked on Instagram, and there are now 17,600 + photos with #HappyWall. But closer inspection showed me that a lot of those were just about happy-making wall decor!

customize the message – like a marriage proposal! – making it even more Insta-worthy!
The messages – and the occasional picture – are created by opening or closing little rectangular doors to make that “pixel” black or colored. Every open door makes a spot of one of the rainbow colors, and every closed door makes a black spot.
