nApplenDay is a celebration of apples, the apple harvest, and applenorchards. It is celebrated in the United Kingdom all through thenmonth of October.
n
n
n
n
nWenin Southern California tend to go bonkers for apples in October asnwell. Some of us go to U-Pick orchards, eat sky-high apple pies, andndo apple crafts. Others just revel in the variety of fresh applesnhitting the grocery shelves.

n

n
nHere’snwhat goes on during Apple Day: village fairs, cooking demonstrations, napple carving, juicing and cider making, games such as apple-peelingncontests, gardening advice and apple identification, and of coursensales of apples, apple crafts, and apple-based foods.
