North Korea today launched a ballistic missile into the sea off South Korea’s east coast, the country’s military general staff said.
The Japanese Coast Guard announced that North Korea had launched a ballistic missile.
The launch came after Pyongyang threatened an “unprecedented, sustained, and strong” response on Friday as South Korea and the US prepared for annual military exercises to counter North Korea’s growing nuclear and missile threat.
