nAwards and News: Nidhi was recently in news for being involved in a sordid event on the road. BJP had planned a pro CAA rally in Rajgarh. Nidhi had imposed 144 to stop the rally. However, the BJP went ahead with the plan. She had to come on the road to stop the rally. Unfortunately, she thrashed a BJP worker who was just shouting slogans, without doing anything violent. This unruly behavior by a distinguished IAS officer is quite sickening. It is alleged that she was pressurized by the Kamal Nath Government to stop pro CAA rally.
