MSI is coming with a new gaming laptop on the market. The new MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro is a great device that promises speed and power.
When we are talking about MSI, probably we are thinking about the famous GS60. This model is most likely the most popular model among customers who have shopped for gaming laptops in the last eight years.
The new MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro comes with an off-the-shelf enclosure from Clevo, and is accompanied by an Nvidia GPU that is currently trendy.
The perfect combination of MSI gaming laptops and Nvidia next gen. graphics (GeForce® GTX 1080 / GTX 1070 / GTX 1060) shall bring you the enthusiast level of VR experience. |
Intel’s mobile CPU offerings are more power efficient than ever and the GPU mobile line is very similar to the desktop chips. This configuration means a bigger leap forward compared with other models released on the market.
More specifically, the new MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro comes with an Intel Core i7-6700HQ, accompanied by a GTX 1060 for gaming and 16GB of RAM. As for storage, the company opted for a 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD, and a 1080p screen.

Customers will be able to buy this configuration at the price of 1.700 dollars. So, the main question is if this year will be the year when the legendary GS60 finally falls from the options of true gamer customers.
As for design, we must say that the new MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro looks very familiar. It is because the system uses an off-the-shelf enclosure, which is not an exclusive option for MSI. This means that customers will be able to buy an almost similar laptop from Origin, which is called the EVO-15.
It looks really great and the company offers a lower chassis that feels svelte and sturdy. This means that people will be able to take the laptop in a meeting or walk with the laptop tucked under the arm. If people will turn off the RGB keys, other partners would not guess that they are using a gaming laptop.
As for the screen, here we are talking about something else. The screen found on the new MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro is slightly flimsy, bending and curving a bit when people will close or open the lid. People will find the company’s logo placed at the center of the screen.
On the bottom bezel it is even worse, because the screen is flexing dramatically at the slightest touch. However, this is not an uncommon problem for smaller systems, but people will have to avoid higher-end models.
It is weird, but it seems that MIS’s newest model has a fuzzy bottom. More specifically, the underside is coated in a thin fabric.
This is a design choice for which no one could figure out the real reason. Practically, we think that this coat helps keep any heat from radiating too badly into the user’s lap.
But, we have not seen such a decision being taken by any other manufacturer. As for ports, the new MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro comes with tons of them. Up the left side, people will find 3.5mm audio in and out, Ethernet, a full-sized SD card and three USB 3.0 ports.
On the right side, people will find a Mini DisplayPort, a full-sized HDMI port, an extra USB 2.0 and a Thunderbolt 3.
