“Wildlife experts are attempting to figure out what killed over 1,000 blackbirds and caused them to fall from the sky over an Arkansas hamlet.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission reported Saturday that reports of dead birds started arriving about 11:30 p.m. the night before. The birds were scattered throughout a 1-mile radius around Beebe, and an aerial inspection revealed no additional dead birds outside of that region.”
