Miss Bum Bum beauty contest winner and Barcelona fan Suzy Cortez has denied sending ‘provocative’ pictures to Lionel Messi.
A huge fan of the Catalan giants, Cortez insists she merely posted a public message of support to the Argentine forward in his pursuit of another Ballon d’Or win.
Still, the Brazilian supermodel did not miss the chance to aim a dig at Messi’s long-term partner for blocking her on Instagram.
Speaking about the incident in a post that has since been deleted, Cortez called Messi’s partner Antonella Roccuzzo ‘jealous’.
‘Most of the press have twisted the story with Leo Messi and his wife,’ she is quoted in AS.
‘I never sent Leo Messi photos, the only thing I did put up a photo in support of his Ballon d’Or, as a fan of Barcelona and considering he’s the best footballer in the world, I didn’t see any problem. I think blocking me was just his wife exaggerating things.
‘I do my job as a model and I’m a Barcelona fan, it’s not my fault that (Messi) has a jealous wife who blocks me, ridiculous over-reaction.
‘Barcelona is 116 years old and is bigger than any one player no matter how good he is.’
