Every rank in the military receives the same MSP. The Ministry of Defense’s Compensation for Time Spent in the Military
the Delhi High Court issued a decision stating that military service pay (MSP) should be paid equally to all grades. The petitioners’ behaviour in suppressing key facts and attempting to claim equities under Article 226 of the Indian Constitution was criticised by the court in its ruling.
MSP rates were also taken into consideration by the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) while formulating its recommendations. The 7thCPC’s recommendations on MSP were carefully considered by the government, and its acceptance has already been communicated to the relevant parties.
