Russia’s massive missile attack hit much of Ukraine today, as a Russian missile hit a residential building in the eastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro, killing nine people, while London announced it was sending heavy tanks to Kyiv, which is asking for heavily armored tanks from Western manufacture.
Power outages
As for the fighting, Ukrainian officials say they continue to control the small, strategically important town of Solentar, where fighting has raged, which Russia has claimed twice in recent days.
“Today, the enemy again attacked power generation facilities in the country. Attacks were carried out in Kharkiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhia, Vinnytsia and Kiev regions. Due to bombings, power outages were determined in many areas.” Ukraine’s Energy Minister Herman Galuchenko announced.
Manager Ukrainergo for its part announced that it is working to eliminate the consequences of “this twelfth massive missile attack against the energy sector of Ukraine”.
Russia launches new massive missile attack on Ukrainian cities (…) Is it possible to stop Russian terrorism? Yes, it is possible. Can we do it the other way around the Ukraine battlefield? Unfortunately, no,” commented Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Barbarian War
The world should stop this evil,” he added.
Moldova announced that missile fragments had landed on its territory. “Russia’s barbaric war against Ukraine has again affected Moldova,” said Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
9 killed, 64 injured in Dnipro
In eastern Ukraine, nine people, including a 15-year-old girl, were killed and 64 others, including 14 children, were injured when a residential building was bombed in the city of Dnipro.
“All eight floors fell after the Russian missile blast,” said President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The first western tanks
Responding to pressure calls from Kiev, the UK today pledged to send Challenger 2 heavy battle tanks.
Most British media are talking about a supply of 12 Challenger 2s, of which 4 will be sent immediately and 8 will be sent shortly.
