Margot Robbie Discusses Harley Quinn For Suicide Squad

Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie had a recent interview with Vanity Fair, in which she talked about her character, Harley Quinn. She gave a quick comment on Quinn’s origin and her relationship with Jared Leto’s The Joker.

“She loves causing mayhem and destruction,” Robbie told Vanity Fair. “She’s incredibly devoted to the Joker. They have a dysfunctional relationship, but she loves him anyway. She used to be a gymnast—that’s her skill set when fighting.”

Vanity Fair also gave some added information about Harley that she is a New York psychiatrist who fell for the Joker while he was in therapy.

Margot was recently pegged for producing and acting duties for a Harley Quinn spin-off which has been reported to be loosely based off of Birds of Prey, with other femme fatales included.
