Manchester United are crushing in dream land having defeated Chelsea 4-0 in the opening match of the season.
United were better in all ramification, they were stronger in defense, much solid in midfield and had attackers who terrorized Chelsea’s mediocre defense and exposed them ruthlessly.
M. Rashford opened the scoring in the 18th minute through the spot after been caught by Kurt Zouma and the awarded a penalty.
The first half ended in a 1-0 win with United growing stronger and more confident as the minutes ticks on.
In the second half, United doubled their lead thanks to a quick counter attack from Maguire, Lingaard, Pereira who squared it for A. Martial to double the lead.
Two minutes later, while Chelsea where trying to get a grip of what is happening, United hit again. United win the ball back in midfield and Paul Pogba spots the run of Rashford and plays a long incisive pass to him which he collects brilliantly and dispatches it to make it 3-0.
3-nil up!! and you could Frank Lampard wondering what the heck is going on.. While he thought Ole, was busy enjoying the mood and pushing his move to go for the kill.
And in the 81st minute, Pogba again found new boy Daniel James to score and make it 4-0.
United are indeed in safe hands under Ole but the same can’t be said of Lampard who knows Chelsea won’t tolerate him for so long.
