According to Spanish paper Super Deporte, Valencia are closing in on signing Manchester City star Nicolas Otamendi.
The 31-year-old Argentina international has struggled for first team football under Pep Guardiola and will leave the club if Valencia can pay City’s £27m asking price.
Although, Atletico Madrid were close to signing the defender last month as Diego Godin’s replacement but, decided against it in dying minute.
Arsenal, PSG and Borrusia Dortmund are interested in him but it seems Valencia could be the club he joins having played 251 games for the club.
