nAkhilesh andnDimple met for the first time at a party organized by a common friend in 1995.nAkhilesh had just returned from Mysore after completing engineering. He wasnplanning to go to Australia for PG. He had no plans of entering into the worldnof politics. On the other side, Dimple who was only 17 at that time was anbubbly girl with lovely face and amazing physical features. Akhilesh fell innlove with Dimple at that party itself. Dimple was also showing interest fornhim. In a short span of time, they became close friends.

nWhen Akhileshnwent to Sydney for higher education, he remained in touch with Dimple. Dimple wasnnot having any mobile phone and it was risky to call on the land line number.nAkhilesh found a way and started to write letters to her. He used to postnletter to a friend from where Dimple was supposed to collect.

nWhen Akhileshnreturned from Australia, he started to take Dimple for date. Mulayam who wasnalready in a secret relationship with Sadhana Gupta somehow came to know aboutntheir relationship. He got worried as Dimple was from a different caste –nThakur – and the entire caste was not happy with Mulayam Singh. Dimple is the daughternof a Retired Lt. General who belongs to Uttarakhand (at that time, Uttarakhandnwas part of UP).
