Liverpool first team scout Jonathan Robinson was spotted watching Nigeria take on Tunisia in the 3rd place playoff.
Nigeria did go on to win the Bronze medal their eight in history thanks to Idoin Ighalo’s strike. But the man of the occasion will certainly go to Samuel Chukwueze who blended pace, trickery and vision in his game.
The 20-year-old was a menace all night and he could have scored the goal of the tournament only for Mouez Hassen to dive to right and pull off a one hard stop.
Chukwueze knew at that point, someone watching him upstairs was impressed and probably he will have something positive to say about him.
If all goes well, Chukwueze could be heading ot Anfield this summer.
