World record: 41-year-old Alexander Sorokin of Lithuania set a new record at the European Championship held in Verona, Italy on Tuesday. In 24 hours, Sorokin ran a distance of 198.1 Mile and wrote a world record. On the other hand, Alexander covered the distance of one kilometer in 4.30 minutes.
Last year in August he ran a distance of 198.1 Mile in 24 hours. 40-year-old Sorokin reacted to the latest record on Instagram. “Very tired.. but with double happiness with the record. The thing is, if breaking the world record is a high point, breaking my own record is even more satisfying,” he said.

Piotrowski, an athlete from Poland, ran a distance of 301.858 kilometers in 24 hours and took the second place. Marco Viciniti from Italy ran a distance of 288 kilometers and took the third place.
