Lithuania against Chinese smartphones

Lithuanian authorities intend to get rid of Chinese smartphones due to problems with censorship. According to the official statements of Lithuanian representatives, a special regional setting was found in smartphones of the Huawei brand, which changed the configuration of the phone depending on the place of its sale.

The essence of the setting is that if smartphones are sold in Europe, then the user can easily write words in support of regional Chinese separatists using the examples of Tibet and Taiwan. In another case, if the phone is sold in China, then this setting is turned off, and if a person writes messages containing words in support of these separatist movements, then the Chinese intelligence services will track this down and bring charges.
