Kohli, Gambhir, Raina won CEAT rating award

India’s middle order batsman Suresh Raina and Virat Kohli won the Ceat International Youngster of the Year 2011 and T20 Player of the Year awards on Saturday.

Left handed opener batsman Gautam Gambhir won the Match-Winning Innings of the Year for his brilliant 97 runs against Sri Lanka on April 2, in the World Cup final at Wankhede Stadium.

England batsman Jonathan Trott won two awards, international cricketer of the year and batsman of the year award.

James Anderson won International Bowler of the Year award.


Indian explosive batsman Virender sehwag and VVS Laxman both were honored with special award for their huge contribution to Indian cricket and for completing 10 years in international cricket.

West Indies former fast bowler Courtney Walsh won the Lifetime Achievement Award for the 2010-11 season.

All nine players receive the awards worth Rs 5lakh each and a trophy.
