Katie Price reveals Oscar Pistorius was messaging her during his trial

Katie Price has revealed that Oscar Pistorius got in touch with her before his conviction for murder.

The Loose Women panellist was chatting on the show about women who fall for serial kilers when she made the revelation.
Price claimed that South African athlete contacted her on Twitter during his murder trial.
She said on the ITV show: ‘He was direct messaging me during his case when all the media stuff was going on before the verdict.
‘It got to the point where I thought, “Actually I don’t want to message. I don’t want to cross that barrier where I’ve got dialogue.”‘

Price explained why Pistorius, who was eventually found guilty of killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, got in touch in the first place.
She said: ‘I mentioned him in a column I did and it started from there. He was thanking me and I thought, “Is this really him?” My brother saw the messages and then he had a verified tick. It was definitely him.
‘[In the column] I was saying you’ve got to let the courts decide. Don’t judge anyone until the courts decide.’
Price said that she was interested in going to interview Pistorius after she discussed her fascination with serial killers.
Pistorius was found guilty of culpable homicide for shooting Reeva four times on Valentine’s Day in 2013.
He was sentenced to a maximum of five years and given a three year suspended sentence for reckless endangerment.
This charge was changed to a murder conviction in November 2015 and he will return to court next month for sentencing.
