Kate Middleton Is Ready To Borrow Queen Elizabeth's Wedding Crown

LONDON: It seems that Kate Middleton wear the same crown when she ties the knot to Prince William on Friday as that Queen Elizabeth II wore. Crowns are always the center of attention of every bride same like Queen Elizabeth has often loaned or given royal brides a tiara on their wedding day and royal wedding watchers are abuzz over which of the queen’s many crowns Kate Middleton might get to wear.


Basically the origin of the Fringe tiara is still controversy among royal authorities. Some historians believe it was made in 1830 from diamonds that belonged to King George III while the others believed that The Royal Collection states that it was made in 1919 for Queen Mary from a necklace she received as a wedding present from Queen Victoria.

The tiara, which is part of the Queen’s personal gem collection, has been worn by handful of British royals, including Queen Victoria, Queen Mary and the Queen Mum. It was also worn by Princess Anne when she get married to Captain Mark Phillips in 1973.
