What withnthe shooting down of the plane over the Ukraine, and the continuingnviolence there, in the Middle East, in Africa, and elsewhere, peacenis ever elusive and fragile… But one way to maximize peacefulnessnis to work out problems with diplomacy, to trade with other nations,nto travel to other nations and meet face-to-face, to learn about andnfrom other nations, to compete with other nations in peacefulnpursuits such as sports, to collaborate with other nations innpeaceful pursuits such as space exploration.

nTodaynthere is a special emphasis on getting young people to know andnrespect other peoples in other lands. They will be tomorrow’snleaders, after all.
